About Anam Cara Gardens

We are a small nursery growing trees, vines, and berries that thrive here in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. Our speciality is dwarf fruit trees, and we have hundreds of varieties available for sale.

We sell our trees at the weekly grower's markets in Grant's Pass and Ashland. If you need more information about our trees or want to make sure that we bring a particular type to the next market, please contact us with your questions. We enjoy helping people choose the right trees for their area and environment.

We believe in using only sustainable organic methods in our tree and plant production. No chemical or poisonous fertilizers,insecticides or fungicides are ever used.

All our plants are grown in pure compost mixes with the occassional organic amendments such as soybean/alfalfa meal, colloidal rock phosphate, and woodash. Our compost is certified pathogen and clopyralid free (clopyralid is a dangerous herbicide that has found it's way into organic composts in California and is threatening the organic industry there). 

Anam Cara means Soul Friend in Celtic. We are proud to produce healthy plants that thrive in our Valley, and are glad that our small scale allows us to make high-quality trees available to our customers at reasonable prices.
